Challenge

The commissioning of a new aircraft requires extensive validation of the aircraft components. The objective of the tests carried out is to validate the fatigue resistance of the aircraft under real conditions of use. Among these components, the wing is an extremely delicate component due to the amplitude of the forces and the precision of measurement required.

PMI Solution

Measuring system including the high precision 1248 force cell installed on the hydraulic cylinders in charge of applying the forces to the wing. The force cells are linked to the data acquisition system which records the measurements continuously.
