Overview

The P103 series has measuring ranges from 0-5 mm to 0-50 mm with many options such as connector or cable output, or threaded or tipped shaft. Linearity is < 0.25% of span, and resolution is infinite. The bandwidth is 10 kHz.

The measurement is made without contact between the fixed part and the moving part, allowing a very high number of cycles, MTBF > 350 000 hours, and excellent repeatability. This probe is used for displacement or position measurement in harsh environmental conditions.

Mounting

The fixed part (body) of the sensor is installed by means of a clamp or a mounting flange. The movable part, corresponding to the displacement measurement, can be free or spring-loaded and permanently pressed against the part to be measured. It can also be bound by a threaded hole at the end of the rod.
