High-precision waterproof S-type load cell

SSM and SSM2 S-type transducers are compact, high-precision force transducers for measuring tensile and compressive forces. Non-linearity is 0.05%, non-repeatability 0.02% and zero sensitivity < ±0.0015%/°C.

10 measuring ranges are available: 0 to 200N, 0 to 500N, 0 to 700N, 0 to 1kN, 0 to 2kN, 0 to 5kN, 0 to 10kN, 0 to 20kN, 0 to 25kN and 0 to 50 kN. Overload capacity is 150%.

Natural frequencies range from 1.5 to 3kHz depending on the model, and deflection is less than 150µm.

Installation

The force is applied via 2 M6 or M12 threads on either side of the transducer. SSM and SSM2 are supplied with a 3m cable, and the operating temperature range is -55 to +90°C. The sensor body, in aluminum or stainless steel depending on the measuring range, is IP67 waterproof.

Signal conditioning and acquisition

SSM S-type load cell requires a voltage supply comprised between 2.5 and 10VDC.

Displays, Amplifiers and Data acquisition modules are offered wherever needed.
