Overview

The 1 axis accelerometers ASC 3511 LN and ASC 3521 MF are based on capacitive MEMS technology, allowing, thanks to their high resolution and low noise sensitivity, the accurate and reliable measurement of accelerations over measurement ranges from ±2g to ±400g, with an accuracy of about 1%. The output signal is a voltage. 3511LN offers the best sensitivity: +/-4V FSO versus +/- 2,7V FSO for 3521MF

ASC-3511LN features a very low noise/signal ratio (7 to 400 µG/sqrt(Hz)) while 3521MF offers the widest bandwidth (up to 0Hz to 7000 Hz at +/- 3dB).

Installation and Operation

The amplified output signal of the ASC 3511 LN and ASC 3521 MF sensor is independent of the supply voltage (5-40 VDC). With a hardened aluminium housing, an operating temperature range of -40 to +100°C, and shock resistance up to 6000g, the ASC 3511 is suitable for harsh industrial environments. A robust and flexible cable makes installation easy.
