The strain sensor DA90 is suitable for strain and force measurement on machine elements under rough conditions. The strain on the surface of the constructional element is measured by the strain sensor due to the bolted-assembly.
The connection cable is protected by a non-crushable spiral tube. The temperature behavior and conversion factor depend on the geometrical and material pairing of sensor and component. The sensor is calibrated by subjecting the component to a known force.
The measuring range is 100µm/m. The strain gage is wired as quarter bridge. Rated output is 1,5mV/V. The operating temperature range is -20 à +85°C. The excitation voltage ranges 1 to 10 VDC (nominal : 5VDC). Available with embedded amplifier with 4-20mA and 0-10VDC output in option

Installation is done quite simply by screwing the sensor with 2 screws M10 on an even material surface.
The DA90e / DA90i onboards an integrated electronic GSV-15L / GSV-6L which provides an output signal 0-10V or 4...20 mA proportional to the applied force on the constructional element. The electronic GSV-15L offers a digital input for automatic zero adjustment, a digital input for autoscale and a digital output as threshold switch. The Scaling can be completed at part load (5% steps). The GSVL-6L provides high performance signal conditionning, with up to 25 kHz bandwidth.
