Overview

The 802 submersible precision inclinometer is designed for use in fresh or salt water down to 2500 m depth.
Using a gravity-sensitive electrolytic element, the 802 inclinometer provides accurate, fine measurements (resolution from 0.0001° to 0.01° depending on model) with excellent long-term stability on one or two axes.

Three measurement ranges are available: ±0.5°, ±3°, and ±50°, with three output types:

Model Output signal
A802 ±5 VDC
C802 4–20 mA (2-wire current loop)
D802 Digital

In the uniaxial version, installation can be transverse or longitudinal (to be specified when ordering).
The admissible supply voltage is 8–18 VDC for the voltage version, 12–29 VDC for the 4–20 mA version, and 7–28 VDC for the digital output.
Connector output + cable to be ordered separately.

Typical zero and gain temperature sensitivities are ±0.0002 °/°C and 0.04%/°C, respectively.
A temperature output is included, allowing compensation of measurement errors due to temperature variations.
