New IEPE M14 Conditioner with Programmable Alarms

New IEPE M14 Conditioner with Programmable Alarms

The M14 is a standalone vibration monitoring system designed for real-time condition monitoring of rotating and reciprocating machinery. It combines 500-point FFT spectral analysis with 10 configurable alarm bands, enabling early fault detection (imbalance, bearings, cavitation) via adaptive or manual thresholds. Compliant with ISO 20816-1 and ISO 10816-6 standards, it covers critical applications such as pumps, compressors, piston engines, and crushers, featuring an isolated 4-20 mA output and two programmable alarm relays.

Its key advantages include a MODBUS-RTU/RS-485 interface for PLC integration, a teach-in function that automates threshold adjustment based on the current vibration level, and an extended measurement range (1 to 1000 m/s² or mm/s, depending on the sensor). The 100 mm DIN rail housing (IP20, -40 to +60 °C) simplifies installation, while the LED bar display and analog/AC outputs enable local visualization or external recording.

This system targets maintenance managers, reliability engineers, and automation integrators in the petrochemical, energy, food & beverage, and pharmaceutical industries. It enhances predictive maintenance by detecting anomalies before failure (e.g., bearing wear, misalignment) and secures processes by triggering emergency shutdowns via relays. Ideal for demanding environments, it also supports quality control in production (e.g., rotor balancing).

The M14 system is deployed with dedicated accessories: M14-BUS1/2/3 bus connectors for RS-485 daisy-chaining and DIN rail power supply (up to 32 modules), 24 VDC power supplies (1.3 A or 2.5 A), and IEPE cables for sensors. PM Instrumentation also offers optional services, including custom calibrations, spectral analysis training, or starter kits with sensors and PC configuration software.
