Closing force measurement system - train doors

Introduction

The BIA 600 is a system for measuring the closing force of train or tram doors in accordance with EN 14752:2015. The BIA 600 is used for development, validation, approval or inspection (end of production, approval or technical inspection) of doors.

The construction is robust and the measurement is accurate and stable. Maintenance consists of an annual or bi-annual recalibration according to the user's standards.

Use

Operation is quick and easy and requires no training. Measurements are triggered and recorded using the supplied console.

Configuration, visualisation, measurement evaluation and automated test report generation are performed using the Pinch Pilot PC software supplied with the FM-205. The system can be easily interfaced with a PLC, a supervisory software, allowing for easy automation of the verification process.

Software

The PinchPilot operating software for Windows PCs includes a dedicated mode for measuring on vehicles with multiple doors. The measurement results can then be displayed and printed in tabular form or stored in a database. Microsoft® DLL or National Instruments® LabVIEW libraries are also included for fully automated remote control.
