The CLP load cell is a waterproof (IP68) sensor designed to measure tensile and compressive forces, with measurement ranges from ±200 N to ±5 kN. Its stainless steel construction and compact design (Ø 76 mm × 25 mm) make it suitable for demanding industrial environments, particularly in the presence of moisture or dust.
This model features overload protection (up to 150%), transverse force compensation to minimize disruptions, and a natural frequency exceeding 1 kHz, ensuring a dynamic response suited to demanding applications. The accuracy class is 0.2% of full scale, with nonlinearity and hysteresis below 0.1%. Two mechanical connection options are available: M8 or M12 threading, depending on the measurement range.
The CLP cell can be used for test benches, prototype instrumentation, tank testing (maritime applications), or industrial tooling control. Its operating temperature range (−40 to 85 °C) and thermal compensation (−10 to 50 °C) make it a versatile component for diverse environments, including outdoor or extreme conditions.
Several options are available, including an integrated signal conditioner (4-20 mA, ±10 V, or CAN output), waterproof cables on request, and mounting accessories. A certified 5-point calibration (tension/compression) is included. The sensor is compatible with external data acquisition modules, such as the GSV-2TSDI or PMI-520AJ, for seamless integration into existing measurement systems.
