Présentation
The 3-axis force sensor K3D120 is suitable for measuring force in three mutually perpendicular axes. It is ready for 50N to 5kN in all three axes and can optionally be manufactured in other measurement ranges.
The force sensor is made of high-strength aluminium alloy up to the 1kN measurement range. From 1kN onwards, the force sensor is made from the material stainless steel 1.4542 (option "VA"). I t stands out due to its particularly compact structure, with an area of 120mm x 120mm and a low total height of just 30mm.

A calibration certificate is delivered with each transducer. The calibration can be procedeeded on customer specific measuring range (option), as well as an ISO-17025 certificate (option).
Conditionnement, Acquisition
PM Instrumentation offers amplifiers and data acquisition solutions for 2 cases:
- PC or PLC based data acquisition is equipped with a I/O board with strain gage channels
- PC or PLC-based data acquisition has only a communication port (CAN, Serial, etc...)
PM Instrumentation recommends the force transducers amplifiers with digital interface of GSV series:
- GSV-4USB (amplifier + acquisition, 4 analog input channels, USB interface) or Bluetooth version GSV-4BT M12, with optional datalogger
- le GSV-8DS (high perfornance DAQ module, 8 analog inputs channels)
- le GSV-6LTE, with datalogger and wireless interface
GSV-1A4 amplifier is similar to GSV-4USB, yet with 4 analog output and no communication interface.
A software for data visualisation and acquisition (GSV-multi) is provided with the data acquisition modules. A SDK including dll and VI files are provided as well free of charge for application development with Labview or C / Visual Studio / C++ / .net environments.
