Introduction

The static torque meters of the MRT, MRTP, MRT2 and MRT2P series are used for low amplitude torque measurement (6 ranges: ±0.2, ±2, ±5, ±10, ±20, ±50 Nm) accurate in industrial environment or research laboratory. The output signal is unamplified (2 mV/Vcc).

The flange design and small size of the MRT, MRT2 and MRT2P static torque meters allow easy installation. The low deflection and high torsional stiffness make the MRT, MRTP, MRT2 and MRT2P a good choice for reciprocating measurements. The calibration is temperature compensated from -10 to +45°C. The MRTP and MRT2P versions offer high overload protection (resp. 700% and 300% of PE).

Installation and mounting

The MRT series torque meters are mounted using 6 or 8 M5 holes and 2 centring pins to allow for better balance and to minimise mounting clearances. A variety of mounting flanges are available to allow mechanical adaptation to the parts to be measured.
