Presentation of the S-Series piezoelectric sensors

The piezoelectric pressure sensors of the S series offer measuring ranges (up to 1000 bar) and temperature ranges (up to 400°C) in a small footprint (diameter: M5) and with high accuracy (0.3% non-linearity).

The crystal used (Gallium phosphate (GaPO4)) is developed in-house, and is characterized by an excellent stability at high temperature and a piezoelectric effect perfectly linear with the pressure, allowing the achievement of a non-linearity of 0.3% from 0 to 400°C. The bandwidth is several tens of kHz, with a resonance frequency > 100 kHz.
