Overview

The SSM-FDH model is a precision sealed S-Beam force sensor that can be used up to 160°C, featuring a very low temperature sensitivity of 0.015% FS/°C and temperature compensation from -10 to 45°C. The SSM-FDH is available in several measurement ranges: ±200 N / ±500 N / ±1 kN.

The non-linearity is 0.05% of full scale for a sensitivity of 3 mV/V.

Installation

The force is applied through two threaded holes M6 on either side of the sensor, depending on the measurement range. The SSM-FDH sensor is supplied with a 2 m cable, and the compensated operating temperature range is from -10 °C to +45 °C.

Signal conditionning and acquisition

SSM-FDH S-beam load cell requires an excitation voltage comprised between 5 and 10 Vdc. Displays, Amplifiers and Data acquisition modules are offered wherever needed.
