The GSV-13q is a signal conditioning module for strain gauge bridges designed to amplify measurement signals from strain gauge sensors such as force sensors, torque sensors, or pressure cells. Its compact dimensions (22 mm in length and 4 mm in thickness) make it a suitable solution for applications where space constraints are critical. The module provides an analog output of 0–5 V or 4–20 mA and a measurement update rate of 1 kHz, enabling dynamic signal monitoring.
The conditioner offers a wide supply voltage range (9 V to 28 V DC) and integrated automatic calibration functions: zeroing (“Tare”) and sensitivity adjustment (“Scale”) are performed via dedicated control inputs, without requiring hardware modification of the strain gauge resistors. These settings are triggered by applying a voltage for 3 seconds, with execution on the falling edge. Measurement noise is specified at approximately 2 µV/V (peak-to-peak) for a bandwidth of 10 Hz.
This module is particularly suited to environments where discreet integration and simplified configuration are required, such as embedded systems, compact test benches, or portable measuring instruments. It can be used to condition signals from miniature sensors in industrial, medical, or quality-control applications where measurement accuracy and repeatability are essential.
The GSV-13q is mounted using two brackets and M2 screws, and customized variants (0–10 V output, 4–20 mA, or specific zero adjustments) are available on request. Additional options, such as selective disabling of the “Tare” or “Scale” functions, allow adaptation to specific user requirements.
