Introduction
The P133 family of probes have measuring ranges from 0mm to 100mm with a range of options such as connector or cable outputs and mounting brackets. The P118 inductive probes are easy to use and cost effective for accurate and complex displacement measurement. Electrical integration is facilitated by a number of options for the analogue output e.g. 0.5 to 4.5Vdc, ± 5Vdc or 4-20mA. The sensor can be supplied with a 5VDC power supply and a 0.5 to 4.5VDC ratiometer analogue output. The P133 has very good linearity and infinite resolution. The bandwidth is 10 kHz.
Mounting and measuring principle
The fixed part (body) of the sensor is fixed with a mounting flange with 2 oblong holes or with a master mounting flange fixed to the sensor body. The moving part, corresponding to the displacement measurement, can be actuated by a spring (probe) pushing it permanently on the part to be measured or by the threaded hole at the end of the rod. It can also be connected by a ball joint or by the threaded hole at the end of the rod. The measurement is made without contact between the fixed part and the moving part, by induction, allowing a very high number of cycles, MTBF > 350 000 hours.
