Introduction

NEXDAQ is the “everyday all-rounder” tool for all test/validation engineers and field technicians. Small, compact, and highly robust, NEXDAQ features 8 universal analog inputs, 2 CAN ports, and digital I/O channels, offering an excellent price-performance ratio.

When connected via USB-C or Ethernet to any computer, NEXDAQ becomes a powerful data acquisition system (up to 200 kS/s sampling rate) for analog signals, digital I/O, counters, and CAN bus.

The included acquisition software, OXYGEN, ensures easy and quick setup of the NEXDAQ. Simply plug in the device to start seamless data recording. Customize the software to suit your measurement tasks by defining different screens and views. OXYGEN offers many standard features such as FFT analysis, visualization, analysis and post-processing, triggers, events, math functions, calculations, automated report generation (e.g., PDF), as well as advanced features like order or power analysis, efficiency mapping, swept sine analysis, and more.

The NEXDAQ data acquisition system is scalable. If 8 channels are not enough, multiple NEXDAQ units can be daisy-chained at any time to build a multi-channel system. A single cable is sufficient for data transfer and synchronization via Ethernet PTP/IEEE1588.

CAN-FD Interface for In-Vehicle Measurements

Two high-speed CAN interfaces for in-vehicle measurements. Both interfaces support CAN-FD and CAN 2.0B outputs. CAN-FD offers a higher transmission rate and more payload per message compared to standard CAN, enabling faster and more reliable measurements. Additionally, you can connect two CPAD/XR modules for slower channel expansions, such as large numbers of temperature channels or RTD inputs.
