The V-Series pressure sensors allow direct measurement of the pressure in the plastic injection molding cavity. The sensor features an accuracy of ±0.25% / ±0.50% of full scale, an excellent lifetime, and a temperature resistance up to 400°C in the process.

The sensitive part of the sensor is fixed in the tooling, by screwing (thread 1/2" - 20-UNF-2A), the membrane being flush with the cavity. The probe is connected to the sensor body (containing the electronics) by a rigid or semi-rigid tube, depending on the application needs.
