New RAIL series of capacitive accelerometers has been specially developed for railway applications. Thanks to their measurement ranges, wide bandwidth, low noise and rugged design (shock limit: 5000 g) and IP68 sealing, these accelerometers can be used for vibration characterization for R&D testing, as well as for continuous monitoring applications (rail, rolling stock, catenaries, etc...).
Available in 1, 2 or 3 axes versions, main features include:
- measuring ranges : from ± 2g up to ± 400g
- Bandwidth (±3 dB): up to 0-4.2 kHz
- low noise
- shock resistance : ± 5000g
- Operating Temperature: -40 to +100°C
