Introduction

The B06A57 is a single-axis piezoelectric accelerometer (IEPE) for industrial applications. Sensitivity is 100 mV/g (+/- 50g range) and frequency response (+/- 5%) is 0.5 Hz to 10 kHz. The accelerometer is designed for vibration characterization of components, and monitoring of bearings or turbines.

Housing

The B06A57 comes in a hardened, corrosion- and chemical-resistant stainless steel housing, and operates over a wide temperature range from -40°C to +120°C. The construction is hermetically welded (IP68) and can withstand shocks of up to 1000 g.

The B06A57 is powered by a 2 to 20 mA DC current (voltage: 20-30 VDC), connected via a 2-pin MIL connector. Mounting on the structure is by screw (M5 or 10-32).
