Présentation

LCI is a precision inclinometer designed for industrial applications with budgetary constraints. Extremely fine angle measurement is achieved by gravity measurement using a servo-controlled inertial platform and an optical sensor. Accuracy is better than 0.1% of full scale, with a resolution of 1µrad. Default measurement ranges are ±3°, ±5°, ±14.5°, ±30° and ±90°, with optional customization.

With a fixed bandwidth of 5 Hz, LCI enables low-frequency behavior to be monitored and understood. The output signal is analog ±5VDC. Temperature sensitivity is extremely low (< 0.0003V/° over the ±90.0° range).

LCI is designed for use in harsh industrial environments, including outdoor installation: operating temperature: -55 to +85°C, resistance to a 1m drop, waterproof enclosure to MIL-STD-202, Mtd. 112.

Installation

The LCI inclinometer is mounted on the application using 2 M5 screws. Electrical connection is via a 4-pin terminal block.
