Presentation
The dynamic strain gauge for concrete (CSG-3000) is a strain gauge designed to be embedded in concrete, intended for precision dynamic strain measurements. The CSG-3000 is ideal for infrastructure and structural health monitoring applications in high-noise environments. The CSG-3000 uses a Wheatstone bridge, which compensates for temperature and wire resistance, and filters out unwanted noise for precise strain measurements.
The systems are available in bending strain or axial strain configurations. Signal acquisition is performed using conventional data acquisition systems.
Installation and Use
The strain gauge is mounted on a specimen body to be positioned on or embedded in the concrete sample.
The strain gauges are configured in a full bridge. Optional conditioning modules are available, providing output signals in 0-10 VDC, 4-20 mA, or digital formats. The identification of the strain/force relationship is performed through calibration on the application. The operating temperature range is -30 to +100°C.
