Overview

The GSV-6ETH is a strain gage bridge acquisition system with Ethernet and CAN interfaces for the acquisition of 16-bit measurement signals up to 400Hz. The 6 analogue channels are individually configurable: strain gauge force or torque transducer (full, half or quarter bridge, sensitivity: 2 or 10 mV/V), position transducer, active transducer (voltage 0-5V or 0-10VDC), Pt1000

The acquisition system includes a low-pass analogue filter.

The sensors are connected to the GSV-6ETH via 1 SUBD44 connector. The module is supplied with 9-36VDC. Note that for multi-component sensors, the GSV-6ETH is able to apply a decoupling matrix in real time.

The GSV-6ETH offers 3 interfaces for the transmission of measurement signals to the PC or PLC:

Communication Protocol

Visualisation and acquisition on PC with GSV-multi software

PC software (GSVmulti) is included with the GSV-6ETH for configuration, visualization and acquisition of measurement signals. The configuration includes: setting up the analogue acquisition channels, sampling rates, starting and stopping recording conditions, and defining alarms. The acquisition file can then be exported for post-processing in Excel or Matlab.
