Overview

KM26z is a miniature force transducer designed for integration into test benches, machines, tools, or the monitoring and optimization of manufacturing processes. The installation of the sensor and the application of the axial force to be measured are done through 2 M6 threads. The installation must ensure that there are no transverse forces or bending moments.

The measurement is in traction/compression on maximum forces of 5 kN. The accuracy of measurement is 1%. 8 measuring ranges are available: ±20N; ±50N; ±100N, ±200N,±500N, ±1kN, ±2kN, ±5kN

Signal conditionning and data acquisition

KM26z sensor is designed for use in harsh industrial environments. It has a wide operating temperature range (-10 to +85°C), a stainless steel body sealed to IP67, and an ultra-rigid design for high bandwidth and vibration resistance (resonance frequency: 5 kHz).

The sensor is delivered with a 3m cable. The output signal is not amplified (1 mV/V). The measurement chain can be completed by a conditioner or an acquisition module:
