Introduction

The LIPS X101 | E101 | M101 | G101 | H101 range is a precise and robust inductive linear displacement transducer that meets the needs of most scientific and industrial applications in hazardous areas (ATEX). Measurement ranges can be specified to the centimeter, from 0-5mm to 0-800mm. These are the ATEX versions of the P101 sensor.

The sensors are very compact and space-saving, and are supplied with an output calibrated to the required stroke, from 0-5mm to 0-800mm, and with full built-in EMC protection.

The non-contact, inductive technology features excellent durability (MTBF > 350,000 hours). Another advantage: infinite resolution, and excellent frequency response (> 10 kHz), for high-dynamic servo control or vibration studies.

Positek ATEX sensors must be used with a galvanic barrier to meet intrinsic safety requirements. The X005 barrier is specially designed for Positek sensors, making it the ideal choice. Various configuration options are available for the output signal.

The cable length between sensor and amplifier can be up to 1 km.
