Introduction

The LIPS X118 | E118 | M118 | G118 | H118 range of inductive probes enables precise measurement of position or displacement over ranges from 0-5mm to 0-50mm. It is the ATEX version of the P118 sensor. Incorporating inductive technology, the sensor is designed for the harshest environments: operating temperature: -40 to +80°C, IP67, excellent durability (MTBF > 350,000 hours), 10g vibration resistance.

Positek ATEX sensors must be used with a galvanic barrier to meet intrinsic safety requirements. The X005 barrier is specially designed for Positek sensors, making it the ideal choice. Various configuration options are available for the output signal.
