Introduction
The STANDARD series of cable displacement transducers (PA, PB, P420, P510, EP, V, VP) is a rugged and cost-effective solution for measuring linear position and/or linear velocity in a clean, dry industrial environment. The aluminum sensor body is IP40.
The STANDARD series includes 13 measuring ranges from 50 mm to 2 m, and 7 types of analog (ratiometric, bridge circuit, 4-20 mA, 0 to 5 or 0 to 10 VDC, ± 10 VDC, ± 5 VDC) or digital (TTL quadrature) output signals. Gain and offset are adjustable on some models. Some models also provide a linear velocity measurement.

Setup
The cable is directly or indirectly linked to the displacement to be measured, which allows a non-normal or non-linear displacement. The measurement can be offset by cable extensions. The sensor body and the cable are fixed on the fixed or mobile part of the measurement. The connector of the STANDARD is made of intertwined cables and protected by a reinforced urethane layer.
