Presentation

The high accuracy (0.1%) DRDL rotary torque transducers offer two simultaneous measuring ranges for applications requiring higher accuracy at full load than at part load. 18 measuring ranges from 0.5 Nm to 5000 Nm are available. The secondary measurement range can be specified between 10 and 50% of the primary range.

The main interest is to be able to benefit from an optimal accuracy at low and high loads, without having to dismantle the torque sensor. Example: power test of an electric motor, followed by a friction torque test.

The signal transmission is contactless between the stator and the measuring axis. This technology guarantees a long service life for the transducer and allows for maintenance-free operation, both for static and dynamic torque measurements.

The torque transducer includes amplification electronics, allowing the acquisition of the measurement signal with a simple analog card (± 10 Vcc). The 12-pin connector includes the power supply pins (12 V DC ± 10%) and the various analog outputs.

Installation

The interfaces of the DRDL consist of two smooth shafts. The assembly is usually done by selecting two couplings and/or woodruf keys. For low torques, the torque transducer can be mounted suspended. For higher torques, it is recommended to put it on a stand. The DRDL is supplied with 12 V DC ± 10 %.
