Overview
The LWPF1 force sensor is used to measure the force applied by a press during operation. Another possible use is to measure the pre-stress force on bolted assemblies. The accuracy is around 1% of full scale.
The LWPF1 is available in 13 measurement ranges between 0-2 kN and 0-100 kN. It has a robust design (stainless steel, IP 60, 150% overload protection) and operates within a temperature range of -10 to 70°C.
Installation
The LWPF1 press force sensor is installed under the bolt head to measure the stress related to tightening. There are 8 threaded holes (M5 x 8, 45°) to allow secure attachment to the support, preventing any rotation during tightening. With an overload tolerance of 150% of the measurement range, it ensures the sensor operates correctly during assembly and deflection phases of the structure.
