The new IEPE accelerometer B02A92 measures vibrations from 1 Hz up to 20 kHz (-3dB) with a resolution of 0.001 g, a bandwidth twice that of standard industrial accelerometers and essential for analyzing bearing defects or instabilities in very high-speed rotating machinery.
Available with a sensitivity of 10 mV/g and a range of ±500 g, it mounts directly via a 10-32 or M5 screw, without mechanical adaptation. The B02A92D option adds an integrated temperature sensor (-55 to +160°C), enabling spatial and temporal synchronization of vibration and thermal measurements. The 14-gram mass and 13.1 mm diameter allow discreet mounting on critical components such as drive shafts or bearings.
Used in turbocharger test benches to correlate blade vibrations with thermal gradients, or in high-speed spindle monitoring (60,000 rpm) to detect abnormal heating before failure. The included calibration, with optional ISO-17025, ensures immediate traceability for aerospace or medical applications.
