Problem

During the adjustment and assembly of tables, platforms, and tiltable structures, the client needed to ensure perfectly controlled leveling and inclination, with precision in the millidegree range. The manual methods previously used did not allow real-time visualization of the angle or ensure reproducible adjustment with the required precision.

PM Instrumentation Solution

PM Instrumentation developed a complete inclination adjustment tooling system, integrating ACA precision inclinometers mounted on the structure’s reference points. The measurement is displayed in real time on a local interface (color TFT touchscreen), enabling fine adjustment of the inclination and continuous monitoring during operations. Depending on requirements, the system can be configured: • in wired or wireless version, • with analog or digital output for connection to a PLC/controller, • to include periodic measurement recording and automatic transmission to a database for traceability (WiFi, Ethernet)

The system is fully configurable and can be integrated into existing tooling or delivered as a turnkey solution.
