Description

The ASC CS-1511 LN, CS-1611 LN and CS-1711 LN capacitive accelerometers enable, thanks to high sensitivity and low noise sensitivity, precise and reliable measurement of small acceleration variations over measurement ranges from ±2g to ±400g on 1 to 3 axes x, y, z simultaneously. The 4-20 mA output signal allows transmission over long distances.

With a cutoff frequency between 100 and 1000 Hz depending on the model, these are designed for the study of low and medium frequency dynamic behavior. High accuracy (less than 1% non-linearity) is achieved through temperature compensation over a wide temperature range.

Installation and use

The amplified output signal of the ASC CS-1511 LN, CS-1611 LN and CS-1711 LN accelerometers (4-20 mA) is proportional to the measured acceleration and can thus be easily connected to a programmable logic controller. The excellent immunity to electromagnetic interference also allows signal transmission over long distances.

With an IP67 (IP68 optional) anodized aluminum housing weighing 35 grams, an operating temperature range of -20 to +70°C, and shock resistance up to 2000g, this series of accelerometers is suitable for harsh industrial environments. Mounting is done by screwing (M3 and M5 screws) or bonding. A 6m PVC cable is included as standard. Connectors are optional.
