The PZ-1050 is a vibrating-wire piezometer designed for reliable groundwater level measurement and monitoring of pore water pressures in boreholes. Housed in a SUS316 stainless steel enclosure, it leverages magnetic vibration-sensing technology to convert frequencies into high-precision data, even in demanding environments. This sensor is ideal for geotechnical applications, dam, tunnel, and infrastructure monitoring, as well as environmental studies where long-term measurement stability is critical.

With an accuracy of ±0.1% PE and a resolution of 0.025% PE, the PZ-1050 withstands pressures up to 150% of its nominal range (50 or 100 psi depending on the model), ensuring a safety margin for transient spikes. Its sintered stainless steel filter (50 microns) protects the sensor from particles, while the shielded 4-conductor cable guarantees robust signal transmission. Installation is simplified thanks to a mechanical locking system and compatibility with standard wells.

The PZ-1050 piezometer is particularly well-suited for civil engineering projects (dams, tunnels, roads), hydrogeological research, or industrial site monitoring (mines, landfills). Typical users include geotechnical engineering firms, operators of critical infrastructure, or environmental laboratories requiring traceable data to assess risks of settlement, infiltration, or soil contamination.

Several options are available, such as custom cable lengths, an integrated temperature sensor (thermistor, 0.1°C resolution), or on-site calibration kits. The PZ-1050 operates across an extended temperature range (−40°C to +125°C) and resists corrosive environments.
