The SHAKE SD300 and QD332 digital triaxial accelerometers provide dynamic monitoring of structures and infrastructure across three axes X / Y / Z. Their distinctive feature: an entirely digital measurement chain, with 24-bit resolution and sampling of up to 1000 samples/s, connected directly to the network via RJ45 Ethernet with PoE power supply.
The two models cover measurement ranges of ±2 g or ±4 g. The SD300 incorporates a MEMS sensor for vibration monitoring and Structural Health Monitoring. The QD332 uses a Quartz MEMS technology, particularly suited when low vibration levels, better dynamic range and reduced self-noise are required. The two models differ markedly: 100 dB dynamic range and 22.5 µg/√Hz self-noise for the SD300, versus 132 dB and 0.5 µg/√Hz for the QD332. NTP time synchronization aligns measurements from multiple sensors, configuration is done via a web interface, power consumption remains less than or equal to 1 W, and IP67 protection with a range of -20 to +70 °C allows installation in outdoor environments.
These accelerometers are intended for teams that monitor the health of structures: monitoring of cable-stayed bridges, or diagnosis after a dynamic or seismic event. PM Instrumentation supports their implementation with a complete solution: accelerometers, PX01 acquisition unit or CUBE gateway, PoE network, analysis and recording via the SanDAS software.
