The N0B series IEPE impact hammers are designed for controlled excitation of structures in modal testing or impulse response analysis. Each hammer features a built-in quartz IEPE piezoelectric force sensor, ensuring precise measurement of the applied impact force.
Three sensitivities are available (1, 5, and 10 mV/N), allowing the delivered energy to be adjusted based on the type of structure being tested. The stainless steel housing, high resonance frequency (> 40 kHz), and 120% permissible overload make it a reliable tool for test campaigns in both laboratory and field environments.
Hammers from the N0B series are used in R&D laboratories, vibration testing departments, and design offices to characterize the dynamic behavior of structures, validate FEM models, or locate defects using experimental modal analysis methods.
Accessories and cables are available depending on the selected model.
