The new S508 is an IP68 10 Bar angular position sensor, submersible to 100m, precise and extremely rugged for industrial and scientific applications. The analog output is calibrated to the required angle between 16 and 160 degrees. The analog output signal (voltage or current) is proportional to the rotation of the sensor.
S508 is assembled in a sturdy stainless steel body with a mounting flange featuring two 4.5 mm, 30-degree slots for mounting and position adjustment. Electrical connection is provided by a submersible cable of specifiable length.
The S508 is particularly recommended for underwater applications in the energy sector (hydroelectric power stations, dams, wind turbines) and for monitoring structures (bridges, platforms).
