Overview

The Convext BT / LBSU series compression force sensors are extremely compact load cells, designed to measure forces from 20N to 4450N with an accuracy of 0.5% in a highly reduced footprint.

Available in 8 measurement ranges: 0-20N, 0-40N, 0-110N, 0-220N, 0-440N, 0-1100N, 0-2200N and 0-4450 N. Force application is achieved via a load button with a diameter of 2 to 6 mm, depending on the range. Its convex shape makes the sensor insensitive to off-centre loads.

The full-scale output signal is 2.0 mV/V, and overload protection of 150% is included. The Convext BT / LBSU sensor body is made of stainless steel, with an operating temperature range of -40 to +80°C. A 1.5 m, 4-wire cable is provided for sensor supply (5 VDC) and output signal (unamplified). Installation is performed using 3 screws.
