High resistance reaction torquemeter for test benches

The TD175(e) is a static (reaction) torque transducer designed for test benches and special-purpose machines. The sensor consists of two 175 mm-diameter flanges linked by four “spokes” instrumented with strain gauges. Available in four measurement ranges (±10, ±20, ±50, and ±150 Nm), it offers an accuracy class of 0.1%.

A key advantage of the TD175 is its high mechanical robustness, notably a bending-moment limit of ±200 Nm, which eases mechanical integration by tolerating, for example, a cantilevered installation of a mechanical load without additional reaction support.

The TD175 is designed for industrial use, with an extended operating temperature (–10 to +85 °C) and an IP65 aluminum construction. The standard output is a non-amplified mV/V bridge. The “e” version with an integrated GSV-1A conditioner provides ±10 V, 0–10 V, or 4–20 mA outputs for direct connection to a DAQ or PLC.

Applications include motor/actuator/transmission test benches, laboratory static tests, machine-tool monitoring, and use cases where fluids/cables must pass through the transducer thanks to its central bore.
