Overview
The Solid Load Cell is a solid disc-type force sensor designed for precise measurement of axial force applied to tie rods, supports, metal structures, or anchoring systems. Installed directly under bearing plates or between load-bearing elements, it measures load via direct compression, ensuring reliable force transmission readings. Its strain gauge technology provides high robustness, excellent resistance to lateral loads, and great stability even under heavy stress.
Available in capacities ranging from 10 to 1000 tons (≈ 98 to 9810 kN), the Solid Load Cell features a high-strength alloy steel construction capable of withstanding up to 150 % mechanical overload. With a wide operating temperature range (–20°C to +100°C), it is perfectly suited for construction sites, load testing, and long-term structural monitoring.
Each sensor delivers a non-amplified 2 mV/V output signal, compatible with all conditioners and data acquisition systems for 350 Ω strain gauges. With a repeatability of 0.3 % F.S. and a non-linearity of ±1 % F.S., the Solid Load Cell is a reliable and durable solution for measuring high forces in civil engineering, anchoring, and structural monitoring applications.

Usage
Recommended excitation: 2 to 10 VDC. Non-amplified output signal in strain gauge bridge (2 mV/V ±1%). Default connectivity: shielded cable (length as per configuration), compatible with all standard conditioners for 350 Ω strain gauges.
SLC load washers must be installed with rigid and flat bearing surfaces to ensure even load distribution and optimal accuracy.
