Overview

The KM55 is a reliable and cost-effective solution for compression force measurement with 1% accuracy in an extremely compact design. Several measurement ranges are available: 0-10kN, 0-20kN and 0-50kN.

With its through-hole diameter of 10 or 12mm, the KM55 sensor can be used for clamping/assembly force measurement. It can also be equipped with a 10 or 12mm diameter load button.

The sensor is secured using 6 tapped holes with a diameter of 4.3 mm on the lower face of the sensor.

The KM55 is made of IP67-rated stainless steel, with an operating temperature range of -10 to +85°C. A 3m 4-wire cable is provided for sensor power supply (5VDC) and output signal (unamplified).

The KM55 sensor output signal is unamplified. It is possible to obtain a complete and configured measurement chain by adding a display, conditioner, or acquisition module:
