Overview - Installation

The KR80 strain gauge compression force sensor enables load measurement up to 10 tonnes with 0.02% accuracy in a compact size (Ø 80mm to 95mm). Available in 7 measurement ranges (0-0.25t, 0-0.5t, 0-1t, 0-2t, 0-3.5t, 0-5t, 0-10t), it can be delivered calibrated up to C6 according to the OIML R60 standard.

Force is applied via a slightly spherical load button (R100mm) with a diameter of 19 to 28mm, to be inserted into the central hole.

The KR80 sensor is made of IP66-rated stainless steel, operates within a temperature range of -30 to +70°C, and is temperature-compensated between -10 and +40°C. A 3m, 4-wire cable is provided for sensor power supply (5VDC) and output signal (unamplified).
