Overview

The 2160® force sensor is a compact, precise, and cost-effective solution for measuring forces above 1000 kN in tension/compression. Available in 6 measurement ranges between ±1335 and 4500 kN, the total accuracy is < ±0.25% of the measurement range, with excellent repeatability (±0.03% of the measurement range). Overload protection is 150%, and a second bridge can be installed for redundancy or precision improvement.

Signal conditioning and acquisition

The output signal of the 2160 series sensors is unamplified. A complete measurement chain, wired and configured specifically for the application, can be obtained by integrating a Display, an Analog signal conditioner/amplifier with voltage or current output, or a Data acquisition system for PC or PLC with included acquisition software.
