1 channel full bridge strain gage amplifier - RS-232/485 or CANopen output

Overview

The GSV-2AS is a serial or CAN interface conditioning module for a single analog channel, all-in-one:

• Signal acquisition for 1 analog channel: Force, torque, or pressure sensor with strain gauge bridge (full or half bridge with 120/350/1000 Ohm resistors) or any amplified sensor - 0-10 V output
• 1 Analog output -5/+5 V (upstream of the analog/digital converter)
• 1 Serial port RS-232 or CANopen (GSV-2AS-CANopen)

The GSV-2AS module is equipped with a 24-bit analog/digital converter. The sampling frequency is configurable from 0.1 to 1000 Hz. The GSV-2ASD version includes a display.

Installation

Thanks to its compact dimensions (178 x 34 x 37 mm), the GSV-2AS fits easily into the environment. Sensor connection is made via a screw terminal inside the housing. The aluminium housing is IP66 rated, allowing operation in humid and dusty environments. The operating temperature range is -10/+65°C. The module is powered by 10-29 VDC.
